Overview
The Aiphone JOW-2D is a 2-door adaptor designed to expand the functionality of Aiphone JO Series master stations. This unit allows a single master station to control and monitor two separate doors, integrating access control directly into your audio/video intercom system. It's ideal for small to medium installations where managing multiple entry points from a central point is required, such as a reception desk or security office.
Compatibility
This adaptor is specifically designed for use with Aiphone JO Series master stations, including models like the JO-1MDW, JO-1MD, and JO-1FD. It interfaces directly with these master stations to provide the necessary control signals for two independent door releases.
Installation Notes
The JOW-2D is powered by the JO Series master station, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. Wiring requires a 2-conductor, PE-insulated cable, 18 AWG, with a maximum distance of 330 feet from the master station. The operating temperature range is 32° to 104° F (0° to 40°C), suitable for indoor environmental control rooms or secure areas.
