Overview
The Aiphone JOW-2D is a specialized adaptor designed to extend the functionality of the Aiphone JO Series intercom system, enabling direct control of two separate doors. This unit solves the deployment challenge of integrating basic door lock release and communication for two access points from a single master station. It is ideal for small offices, residential buildings, or any scenario where simplified, two-door access management is required without the complexity of a full access control system.
Compatibility
This adaptor is exclusively designed for use with the Aiphone JO Series master stations. It interfaces directly with the JO Series to manage two independent door release mechanisms.
Installation Notes
The JOW-2D is powered directly by the JO Series master station, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. Installation requires 2-conductor wiring with PE insulation, suitable for 18 AWG cable. The maximum wiring distance from the master station to the adaptor is 330 feet. The unit's operating temperature range is 32° to 104° F (0° to 40°C), making it suitable for indoor installations in controlled environments.
