Overview

The Panduit UTPSP10GRY is a 10-foot, green, Category 6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-performance network infrastructure. Constructed with 24 AWG stranded copper, it supports up to 10GBASE-T Ethernet over limited distances, making it suitable for data centers, enterprise networks, and any environment requiring reliable Gigabit and 10-Gigabit connectivity. The cable is CM rated for use in vertical or general building applications where air handling plenums are not present. Its tangle-free latch on the modular plug prevents snags during installation or moves, adds, and changes (MACs), while the slender strain relief boot offers easy access in high-density racks.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards, ensuring compatibility with all Category 6 network infrastructure. It supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 10GBASE-T applications, as well as ATM and VoIP services. Furthermore, it is rated to support IEEE 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+), and 802.3bt Types 3 and 4 (PoE++), providing sufficient power delivery for network devices without requiring separate power supplies.
