Description

Vertiv 11013VH Vertical Rack PDU

Overview

The Vertiv 11013VH is a Basic Standard rack Power Distribution Unit (rPDU) designed for reliable power delivery to IT equipment in standard server racks. Its vertical 66-inch chassis mounts directly into the rack, consuming no horizontal rack U-space, making it ideal for environments where space is at a premium. This unit provides 30A of power at 120/208V WYE, delivering up to 8.6kW, suitable for densely populated racks. The 11013VH model features a 10ft power cord with a NEMA L21-30P twist-lock plug for secure connection to the facility's power infrastructure.

Compatibility

This rPDU is designed for direct connection to standard 30A, 120/208V WYE power circuits found in data centers and network closets. The 24 IEC C13 outlets are suitable for powering most standard IT equipment like servers, switches, and network appliances. The 6 IEC C19 outlets provide higher current capacity for more power-hungry devices such as blade servers or high-density compute nodes. It is compatible with any standard 19-inch wide server rack or cabinet.

Installation Notes

The 11013VH features toolless mounting hardware with center-to-center spacing options of 61.25 inches and 64.75 inches, allowing for quick installation into compatible racks. It includes three 20A double-pole magnetic breakers for over-current protection, ensuring connected equipment is safeguarded. The operating temperature range is 10-45°C (50-113°F), suitable for standard IT operating environments. The chassis is black powder-coated steel for durability.
