Overview

The Ubiquiti UCG-ULTRA is a compact desktop cloud gateway built for organizations requiring advanced routing, security, and centralized network management. It delivers 1 Gbps IDS/IPS throughput with multi-WAN load balancing, supporting up to 30+ UniFi Network devices and 300+ simultaneous clients. The device features four WAN ports (one 2.5 GbE, three 1 GbE) and integrates full UniFi Network management capabilities including stateful firewalling, application-layer inspection (DPI), and 55,000+ IDS/IPS signatures via CyberSecure.

Key Capabilities

Advanced security includes zone-based firewalling, content filtering, ad blocking, VLAN-based traffic segmentation, and policy-based routing. Networking features encompass OSPF dynamic routing, advanced QoS, multi-WAN failover with LTE backup support, and SD-WAN without licensing. VPN options include Site Magic, IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard, L2TP, and Teleport zero-config VPN. The device consumes 6.2W, uses USB-C power (adapter included), and fits compact deployment spaces at 5.6 x 5 x 1.2 inches with a 0.96" LCM status display.
