Overview
The UACC-JUNCTION-UTILITY is a galvanized steel junction enclosure rated IP55 and NEMA Type 3R, built to house UniFi Access Hubs, network switches, and field-mounted infrastructure in exposed indoor and outdoor locations. The 400 × 350 × 152 mm (15.7 × 13.8 × 6 inch) form factor mounts to a wall and tolerates direct rain, dust, and corrosive air without requiring a separate weatherproof cabinet — a real cost saver when you need protection at a branch office, outdoor network PoP, or loading dock without the bulk of an equipment rack.
Compatibility
This enclosure integrates with Ubiquiti UniFi Access infrastructure, including Access Hubs and compatible networking equipment. The inner mounting plate (270 × 355 mm / 10.6 × 14 inch) accepts DIN-rail-mount components and standard wall-mount brackets. Confirm your specific UniFi device footprint before ordering — the 152 mm depth is shallow, so tall modular devices may not fit.
Installation Notes
Wall mounting only — no pole or pedestal options. The SGCC galvanized steel construction handles salt spray and UV exposure in coastal or industrial settings, but inspect annually in harsh environments. IP55 means direct rain jets won't penetrate, but standing water pooling at the enclosure base will eventually find weak seals — ensure adequate drainage around the mounting location. Pair with internal DIN-rail mounting hardware (not included) to organize devices inside.
