Overview
The Aiphone NI-BA is a surface mount substation designed for call-in and 2-way communication with Aiphone NIM master stations. It supports hands-free operation and mounts directly to wall or desktop surfaces, making it suitable for office, facility, and institutional intercom deployments. Built from durable plastic housing, the unit integrates into existing Aiphone NIM systems without requiring flush-mount installation.
Compatibility
The NI-BA pairs with Aiphone NIM-20B and NIM-40B master stations and operates over standard 3-conductor shielded wire (Aiphone #821803 recommended). Communication range extends to 650 feet using 18 AWG cabling. Requires 48V DC power via the IS-PU-UL UL-listed power supply (sold separately).
