Overview
The Aiphone AX-A is a surface-mounted indoor sub station designed for hands-free intercom communication within AX Series systems. Constructed from sturdy ABS plastic, the AX-A supports both wall and desk mounting configurations, making it suitable for office, commercial, and institutional deployments where flexible positioning is required.
Compatibility
The AX-A integrates with Aiphone AX Series master stations, including the AX-8M, AX-8MV, and AX-8MV-W models. Installation uses standard Cat-5e cabling or 2-conductor wire with distances up to 980 feet, simplifying retrofit and new construction projects. The unit operates on PoE (802.3af) power delivery, eliminating separate power runs.
