Overview
The UNAS-PRO-8 is a 2U rack-mount NAS designed for enterprise file storage and sharing across distributed networks. It accommodates 8 drive bays (2.5" or 3.5" HDD/SSD) plus 2 M.2 NVMe cache slots, delivering low-latency access for bandwidth-intensive workflows. Dual 10G SFP+ ports and one 10GbE RJ45 port support multi-Gbps throughput over standard infrastructure. Quad-core ARM Cortex-A57 processor with 16 GB memory manages RAID 5, RAID 6, and RAID 10 configurations with hot-spare support and automatic failover.

250W max power consumption; dual hot-swappable 550W AC/DC PSU modules for redundancy. Supports NFS and SMB protocols. File encryption, snapshots, and multi-destination backup (remote UNAS, CIFS/SMB, cloud services including S3, Google Drive, OneDrive). Maximum 4 TiB NVMe capacity. NDAA compliant; FCC, CE, IC, SRRC certified. Operating range -5° to 40°C, 5–95% noncondensing humidity. Fits 600–1066 mm (23.6–42") four-post racks with square holes.
