Ubiquiti UF-INSTANT Compact GPON Customer Premises Equipment
Overview
The Ubiquiti UF-INSTANT is a compact fiber customer-premises equipment (CPE) module designed for GPON network deployments. With dimensions of 69.5 x 13.7 x 11.3 mm and weighing only 30 g, this unit provides a minimal-footprint solution for fiber-to-the-premises installations. It delivers 2.488 Gbps downstream and 1.244 Gbps upstream throughput over a physical reach of 20 km, supported by ITU-G.984 GPON standards compliance.
Compatibility
The UF-INSTANT integrates with Ubiquiti GPON fiber network systems as a customer-side endpoint. It features a single SC/APC optical interface for WAN connectivity and SGMI Ethernet LAN connection. Management operates in-band over the PON link. The module operates across ambient temperatures from -10 to 45°C with 10 to 90% humidity tolerance, supporting standard data center and field deployment environments. Maximum power consumption is 2W, with optical TX range 0.5 to 5 dBm and RX sensitivity -8 to -28 dBm. CE, FCC, and IC certified; NDAA compliant.
