i-PRO M-JB Junction Box Overview

The i-PRO M-JB is a round junction box designed for i-PRO fixed dome camera installations, providing a secure, code-compliant enclosure for cable terminations and connections at the camera mounting location. This weather-rated junction box protects splices, connectors, and excess cable from environmental exposure, physical damage, and unauthorized access while providing a clean mounting surface for the camera.

Cable Management

The junction box provides ample internal volume for cable terminations, RJ45 connectors, and service loops of excess CAT5e/CAT6 cable. Knockouts on multiple sides accommodate conduit entry from various routing directions, and weatherproof cable glands seal around cable jackets to prevent water intrusion. This organized cable management approach prevents the cable damage and connection failures common with exposed cable runs.

Mounting Platform

The flat top surface of the junction box serves as the mounting base for compatible i-PRO dome cameras, providing a stable, level platform that simplifies camera installation and alignment. The box raises the camera off the mounting surface, providing clearance for cable routing and simplifying maintenance access to the camera's network and power connections.

Construction
