Geovision 55-LPRPT-004 4-Channel License Plate Recognition Module
Overview
The Geovision 55-LPRPT-004 is a dedicated 4-channel License Plate Recognition (LPR) processor module designed for multi-lane traffic monitoring and access control applications. This accessory integrates with Geovision surveillance systems to deliver automated plate capture, recognition, and database matching across four independent lanes simultaneously. Ideal for toll plazas, parking facilities, border crossings, and perimeter security installations where rapid vehicle identification is required.
Technical Specifications
The module operates on single PoE (802.3af) power delivery, simplifying deployment and reducing cabling complexity. It processes video streams from up to four camera inputs, extracting and recognizing license plate data in real-time without requiring external power supplies or dedicated network infrastructure beyond standard PoE switches.
Compatibility
This LPR module is compatible with Geovision GV-LPR series cameras and existing Geovision surveillance ecosystems. It supports ONVIF-compliant systems and integrates with standard VMS platforms for centralized management, alerting, and database queries.
