Overview
The Valcom V-9422 is a 2x2 lay-in ceiling speaker designed to create a masking noise curtain that aids in preventing overheard conversations. This speaker integrates seamlessly into standard suspended ceiling grid installations, making it suitable for open office environments, healthcare facilities, financial institutions, and other spaces requiring speech privacy protection.
Compatibility
The V-9422 supports microphone input, enabling integration with Valcom's Spot SoundMasking™ system architecture. It mounts directly into 2x2 ceiling tile openings, compatible with standard T-bar grid systems. The unit works within Valcom PA and paging system deployments for distributed audio coverage.
Installation
Ceiling lay-in mount type allows quick installation into existing suspended ceiling grids without structural modification. Mounting brackets and hardware are available separately (V-TBAR, V-9912M-10) for custom grid applications.
