Aiphone KB-3MRD Color Master Monitor Station
Overview
The Aiphone KB-3MRD is a wall-mounted color master monitor station designed as the primary control unit for KB-series video intercom systems. It features a 4" LCD display for video identification and monitoring, full-duplex handset communication, and built-in illumination for low-light operation. The unit supports selective door release activation and includes video output to DVR systems via supplied connector. Instant voice call-in with image capability enables rapid visitor identification and response.
Compatibility
Integrates with Aiphone KB-series door stations and sub-master units. Supports optional RY-3DL or RY-24L relay modules for selective multi-door release control. Wiring distances to door stations reach 330 feet (22 AWG) or 650 feet (18 AWG). Compatible with 2-conductor, non-shielded midcap solid wire (Aiphone #871802). Sub-master stations operate at maximum 165 feet (22 AWG) or 330 feet (18 AWG) from the KB-3MRD.
Installation
Surface-mount design for wall or desk installation using optional MCW-S/B mounting bracket. Requires N/O dry contact door release control at 12V AC, 400mA standard rating.
