Overview
The Valcom VIP-148AL-M is a PoE-powered IP talkback horn designed for high-efficiency voice paging, two-way hands-free communication, emergency alerts, and ringing across large indoor and outdoor areas. The unit includes a long line extender to support extended deployment distances over IP-based networks.
Compatibility
This device functions as a standalone PoE SIP endpoint, enabling direct two-way voice access to a single location. It integrates with IP-based paging infrastructure and supports integration variants including Intrado Revolution® and InformaCast® compatible models for enterprise emergency communication systems.
Installation
Supports wall and ceiling mounting. Power delivery via PoE (802.3af), eliminating the need for dedicated power infrastructure at the speaker location.
