Overview
The Aiphone DA-1MD is an audio handset master station designed for the DA Series intercom system. It provides full-duplex communication with privacy features, making it suitable for residential and commercial access control installations requiring reliable tenant-to-entrance communication.
Compatibility
The DA-1MD integrates with DA Series entrance and door stations. Installation requires 2-conductor wire: use Aiphone #822202 (shielded) or #871802 (low capacitance, non-shielded) for station connections. Power supply wiring supports distances up to 180 feet with 22AWG or 510 feet with 18AWG wire. Cumulative entrance-to-power supply distance reaches 360 feet (22AWG) or 1,020 feet (18AWG).
