For runs under 40 km, the FSFP-EFSM2LC40 is sufficient at lower cost. For gigabit throughput over similar distances, the FSFP-EGSM2LC70 (70 km) provides 1 Gbps. Confirm fiber attenuation budget across the full run length, including splice and connector losses. NDAA Section 889 compliant.
