$1,037.99The Hanwha Vision PNO-A7082R is a 4MP AI-driven bullet camera built on the Wisenet 9 SoC with dual NPU support, designed for high-performance perimeter and critical infrastructure deployments. Utilizing a 1/1.8 inch CMOS sensor and delivering up to 2592x1520 resolution at 60fps with WDR off, this model balances pixel density and frame rate for scenes that demand both clarity and motion fidelity. With 120dB WDR, AI-based image enhancement, WiseNR II, and WiseStream, it is engineered for challenging lighting environments and bandwidth-controlled networks. The integrated 4.6 to 9.35mm motorized varifocal lens, combined with WiseIR up to 60m, positions this unit as a flexible solution for mid-range identification and long corridor coverage.
The 4.6 to 9.35mm motorized varifocal lens provides a horizontal field of view from 105 degrees wide to 47 degrees tele. At the wide end, you gain strong situational awareness across open parking lots and building perimeters. At the tele end, pixel density increases substantially, supporting identification at distance. DORI performance confirms this: identification reaches 11.9m at tele versus 4.0m at wide. Detection extends to 119.2m at tele. This matters in real deployments. If mounting at 4 to 6 meters covering vehicle lanes, narrowing toward tele dramatically improves license plate and facial tasking. For broad crowd monitoring at entrances, the wide setting improves coverage but reduces identification distance. Minimum object distance of 1.5m should be considered when mounting in constrained corridors. The 60m WiseIR range at 850nm supports long perimeter lines, but matching lens focal length to target distance is essential to avoid wasted IR spread.
The Wisenet 9 platform with dual NPU enables onboard AI classification of Person, Face, Vehicle, and License plate. Attribute extraction includes clothing color, gender, bag presence, vehicle type and color, and face attributes such as age, gender, mask, and glasses. AI-driven events include virtual line crossing, intrusion, loitering, direction detection, social distancing, face mask detection, and slip and fall detection. Business intelligence functions include people counting, vehicle counting, queue management, heatmap, and crowd counting. BestShot thumbnailing ensures optimal forensic capture. These analytics reduce post-incident review time and enable proactive operational triggers through MQTT, HTTP, and alarm outputs.
With minimum illumination of 0.03 lux color and 0.003 lux black and white, paired with F1.3 aperture at wide, the camera maintains usable color performance into low-light transition zones. 120dB WDR handles high-contrast scenes such as backlit entrances and loading docks. AI-based WiseNR II and WiseStream reduce noise and bitrate under low light, preserving detail without overwhelming storage systems. The 60fps capability with WDR off is relevant in high-motion scenes like traffic monitoring.
Rated IP66, IP67, NEMA 4X, and IK10, this unit is designed for exposed outdoor deployments. Operating temperature spans -50C to +55C, with NEMA-TS 2 compliance for transportation environments. The aluminum housing and hard-coated window improve long-term durability in corrosive or high-vibration environments.
Power is supported via PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4) with maximum consumption of 15.0W, or 12VDC. PoE budgeting should account for full IR activation and analytics load. Dual microSD slots support up to 1TB per slot, total 2TB, for edge redundancy. Network connectivity is 10/100/1000BASE-T with H.265, H.264, and MJPEG compression. Security architecture includes secure boot, signed firmware, encrypted firmware, IEEE 802.1X, AES-256 SD partition encryption, FIPS 140-3 level 3 secure element, and SBOM support. This aligns with enterprise and government cybersecurity requirements.
This model fits transportation corridors, city surveillance, logistics yards, retail entrances, and any deployment requiring AI classification combined with strong environmental hardening and mid-range optical flexibility.
If ultra-long telephoto coverage beyond 120m detection or panoramic multi-sensor coverage is required, or if sub-5W PoE budgets are mandated, alternative models may be more appropriate.
