Axis D2123-VE 270° Radar is a multi-layered IP surveillance solution designed to deliver wide-area, always-on detection in demanding outdoor environments. Built on the ARTPEC-9 system-on-chip, this radar-based device provides a panoramic 270° horizontal field of detection, enabling reliable monitoring of large perimeters with minimal blind spots. The system supports AI-powered classification and can recognize human presence at distances of up to 140 meters (460 ft), covering areas as large as 30,000 m² (323,000 ft²). Unlike traditional optical-only cameras, the radar operates independently of lighting conditions, maintaining consistent performance in darkness, glare, fog, rain, or snow, making it suitable for critical infrastructure, logistics sites, and large commercial facilities.

Designed for advanced system integration, the Axis D2123-VE supports deep interoperability with selected PTZ cameras and enables radar-video fusion for enhanced situational awareness. Its unique box-shaped surveillance zones simplify coverage planning by allowing precise definition of detection and recognition areas, improving efficiency while reducing false alerts. The radar can track up to 100 objects simultaneously and trigger automated actions across connected systems, such as activating strobes, sirens, or initiating camera recordings.
