The Axis D2122-VE 180° Radar is a high-performance, AI-powered radar sensor designed to deliver wide-area, 24/7 intrusion detection in demanding outdoor environments. Built on Axis’s ARTPEC-9 system-on-chip, the device provides a continuous 180° horizontal field of detection and delivers reliable human recognition across expansive areas regardless of lighting or weather conditions. With the ability to detect and classify humans at distances up to 140 meters and across a coverage area of 20,000 m², this radar sensor is engineered for perimeter protection, site monitoring, and large-area security applications where optical systems alone may be limited.

Using advanced radar-video fusion capabilities and deep integration with selected PTZ cameras, the D2122-VE enables accurate tracking of up to 100 simultaneous objects while maintaining precise situational awareness. Its unique box-shaped detection and recognition zones simplify coverage planning, reduce deployment complexity, and support more efficient system design.
