Pelco UPTIRN309A00 is a covert 940 nm IR illuminator paired to the ULISSE pan-tilt platform, delivering a 30-degree beam that tracks with camera movement across patrol presets. At 940 nm, output is invisible to the human eye, maintaining nighttime coverage without revealing camera position. Powered from 24 Vac or 12/24 Vdc. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

The 30-degree beam balances mid-range throw with reasonable angular coverage—wide enough for general patrol sweeps, narrow enough to concentrate energy at meaningful distances. Mount directly on or adjacent to the ULISSE positioning head and confirm mechanical compatibility with the target ULISSE variant before ordering. At 940 nm, CMOS sensor efficiency drops roughly 40–50% compared to 850 nm—verify camera sensitivity meets identification requirements at the intended range. For tighter long-range concentration, the 10-degree UPTIRN109A00 narrows the beam. Sites without covert requirements should default to 850 nm models.
