Pelco IME839-1ERS is a Sarix Enhanced 8 MP outdoor dome with a 4.4–9.3 mm motorized varifocal lens, 130 dB SureVision WDR, integrated IR, and on-board Pelco Smart Analytics including classified object detection, loitering, beam crossing, and crowd detection. The motorized lens allows zoom and focus commissioning from the VMS after mounting—eliminating revisits for lens tuning.

H.265/H.264 encoding. IP-rated, IK10. PoE+ or 12/24 Vdc powered. ONVIF Profile S/T/G/M compliant. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

The Enhanced tier sits above Pro 4 with SureVision WDR and richer analytics, but below Enterprise which adds FIPS 140-3 encryption. For federal or financial deployments requiring FIPS validation, step up to Enterprise. 8 MP resolution doubles the pixel count of 4 MP models, increasing bandwidth and storage—H.265 offsets this substantially. For fixed-lens cost savings where field of view is well-defined, 8 MP Pro 4 models avoid the motorized varifocal premium.
