Pelco HOT39D2A085 – Camera Housing

Pelco HOT39D2A085 is an internal heater for PUNTO Series (BOV2A) camera housings with dual 12 Vdc / 24 Vac input. Maintains minimum operating temperature inside the housing during cold weather, preventing condensation on the optical window and protecting camera electronics from thermal shutdown. Dual-voltage input accommodates whichever power infrastructure exists at the camera location. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Any PUNTO housing deployed where ambient temperatures approach the camera rated operating minimum needs an active heater. Without one, internal condensation fogs the optical window within hours of a temperature drop. Size the power supply for combined camera and heater draw with at least 20% headroom for simultaneous startup. Verify compatibility with the BOV2A PUNTO housing variant. Other PUNTO versions may use different heater models. Internal housing installation only.
