Pelco FRD1M1ST – Security Camera Accessory

Pelco FRD1M1ST — single-channel data-only receiver over multimode fiber with an ST connector. Receives PTZ control, alarm, or serial data signals from the FTD1M1ST transmitter at the far end. Terminates the fiber data link at the headend or controller location. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Install at the headend or wherever the PTZ controller or serial host resides. Fiber link provides noise immunity and ground-loop isolation on long runs. Requires the FTD1M1ST transmitter at the opposite end — both units needed for a complete link. For combined video and data reception, use the FRV10D1M1ST. Evaluate whether IP-based serial transport can replace dedicated fiber data links.
