Pelco FMCI-PG1POE is a single-channel Gigabit Ethernet fiber-to-copper media converter with PoE output. Accepts one SFP transceiver on the fiber side and delivers PoE power on the copper RJ45 port. Combines media conversion and power sourcing in one device, eliminating separate PoE injectors at fiber-to-copper transition points. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Particularly effective for campus perimeter and parking structure deployments where fiber runs terminate near camera positions—one device replaces a separate media converter plus PoE midspan. Confirm the PoE power budget meets the connected camera’s requirements, including IR illuminator and heater draw. SFP transceiver selection determines fiber type, wavelength, and distance—order the SFP separately matched to the installed fiber plant. For non-PoE Gigabit fiber conversion, the FMCI-PG1 and FMCI-PG1M omit PoE output. For 100 Mbps PoE conversion, the FMCI-PF1POE operates at Fast Ethernet speed.
