$1,202.99Hanwha SMT-2721PV Overview
The Hanwha SMT-2721PV is a 27-inch AI-enabled public view monitor designed for retail loss prevention, event notifications, and advertising display. This integrated system combines a full-HD (1920Ă—1080) display with an embedded 2MP IP camera, AI object classification, and motion-triggered audio/visual alarms to deter theft and enhance situational awareness in retail, hospitality, and public venues. The monitor operates in both landscape and portrait modes and delivers business intelligence through people counting, queue management, and heatmap analytics.
Hanwha SMT-2721PV Key Features
- Integrated 2MP IP Camera with Fixed 3.06mm Lens: Captures 1920×1080 video at up to 30 fps (H.265/H.264) or 15 fps (MJPEG) with a 107.7° horizontal field of view and F1.6 aperture ratio. Minimum illumination of 0.03 lux (F1.6, 1/30 sec) supports low-light operation without IR.
- AI Object Classification and Analytics: Detects persons and faces with motion detection across 8 configurable zones, virtual line crossing detection with direction tracking, virtual area monitoring (loitering, intrusion, enter/exit, appear/disappear), and defocus/tampering alerts. Supports analytics-triggered events for automated security workflows.
- Advanced Video Processing: 120 dB wide dynamic range (WDR), dual noise reduction engines (SSNR V and WiseNR II AI-based), backlight compensation, and electronic shutter control (1/5–1/12,000 sec). Digital PTZ, video rotation (flip, mirror, hallway view 90°/270°), and privacy masking with 32 quadrilateral zones.
- Business Intelligence Engine: Built-in people counting, queue management, and heatmap generation for retail optimization and foot traffic analysis without requiring external analytics software.
- Flexible Display and Messaging: Displays still images or slideshows without requiring microSD or USB storage. Customizable text overlay with default "Recording in progress" message and support for custom logo image insertion. Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes for simultaneous advertising and monitoring.
- Audible and Visual Alarm System: Motion and event-activated LED and dual 2W speakers (4W total) for immediate visual deterrence and audio notifications triggered by AI detection events.
- Dual Power Input (HPoE and DC 24V): Supports both High Power over Ethernet (HPoE) and DC 24V external power for flexible installation. Requires DC 24V Power Adapter (SPU-60240) or HPoE Injector (SPO-8315), sold separately.
- Network Connectivity and Protocol Support: SUNAPI and ONVIF Profile S/G/T/M compliant for VMS integration. Dual HDMI outputs (v2.0) and Ethernet connectivity enable multi-display configurations and network streaming.
- Robust Cabinet and Mounting: Steel cabinet finished in black with multiple VESA mounting options (100Ă—100mm, 200Ă—100mm, 200Ă—200mm). Dimensions 619Ă—405Ă—58mm (24.4Ă—15.9Ă—2.3"); weight 8.5 kg (18.7 lbs).
- Event-Driven Recording and Alerts: Supports file upload (image) via email/FTP, email notifications, SD/SDHC/SDxC or NAS recording at event triggers, alarm output relay, and HTTP/HTTPS/TCP handover for PTZ presets and custom messaging.
- Security and Compliance: UL Listed and NDAA Compliant for federal procurement. Meets stringent security standards for critical infrastructure and government applications.
Hanwha SMT-2721PV Integration and Compatibility
The SMT-2721PV adheres to ONVIF Profile S, G, T, and M standards, enabling seamless integration with leading VMS platforms and IP camera management systems. Dual HDMI outputs allow daisy-chaining to secondary displays or direct connection to recording devices. WebUI-based monitor management provides power scheduling, banner customization, and configuration without requiring proprietary software. The embedded IP camera streams natively over Ethernet, and the monitor itself can be controlled remotely via web interface for power on/off and alarm triggers, supporting flexible enterprise deployments across retail chains, corporate campuses, and transportation hubs.
