Pelco FTD1S1ST is a single-channel data-only fiber transmitter for single-mode fiber with ST simplex connector. Extends RS-485/RS-422 serial control, alarm, or command data over single-mode fiber distances far exceeding copper cable limits without carrying video. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Pair with the FRD1S1ST receiver at the monitoring end. ST connectors require ST-terminated single-mode fiber. For FC-terminated plants, the FTD1S1FC variant matches the connector type. For combined video-plus-data fiber transport on a single link, the FTV10D1 series carries both signals. For multi-channel data transport, the FTD4S series handles four channels per unit. Cost-effective when video is already transported separately.
