Pelco FTD1M1ST — single-channel data-only transmitter over multimode fiber with an ST connector. Carries PTZ control, alarm, or serial data signals over fiber independently of the video path. Fiber transport provides immunity to electrical noise and ground-loop interference on long control runs. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Deploy where PTZ control or serial data must travel over fiber separately from video — for example, when video is already on an IP network but the PTZ controller uses serial protocol. Requires the FRD1M1ST data receiver at the far end. Verify multimode fiber type and ST connector quality. For combined video and data on one fiber, the FSV10D1M1ST carries both channels. Evaluate whether a serial-to-IP adapter eliminates the need for dedicated fiber data transport.
