Pelco FRD4S1ST – Security Camera Accessory

Pelco FRD4S1ST is a 4-channel bidirectional data fiber receiver for single-mode fiber with ST simplex connectors. Receives RS-485/RS-422 serial control and alarm data from a compatible FTD4S1ST transmitter, extending up to four PTZ control or serial data channels over single-mode fiber distances far beyond copper limits. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Install at the head-end and pair with the FTD4S1ST transmitter at the remote end. ST bayonet connectors require ST-terminated single-mode fiber. For FC-terminated plants, the FRD4S1FC variant matches the connector type. Single-mode fiber supports inter-building and campus-scale distances. For combined video-plus-data fiber transport, the FRV10D1 series carries both analog video and serial data on the same link. Data-only receivers do not carry video.
