Pelco FRD4M1ST – Security Camera Accessory

Pelco FRD4M1ST is a 4-channel bidirectional data-only fiber receiver for multimode fiber with ST simplex connectors. Handles RS-485/RS-422 serial data from up to four PTZ control, alarm, or serial command channels simultaneously. Bidirectional support enables RS-485 half-duplex protocols without separate transmit and receive strands per channel. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Install at the headend or monitoring location. Pair with the FTD4M1ST transmitter at the camera end—both units are required for a complete link. Multimode fiber suits campus and intra-building runs up to approximately 2 km. Confirm installed fiber termination type is ST before ordering. For single-channel data reception, the FRD1M1ST reduces cost and fiber usage. For combined video and data on fiber, evaluate the FSV/FRV transceiver series.
