$3,829.99The i-PRO WV-X66300-Z3LK is a 2MP outdoor PTZ network camera designed for long-range perimeter monitoring, transportation infrastructure, and wide-area surveillance environments. Built around a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and powered by the Ambarella CV25m SoC, the camera integrates edge AI analytics with high-speed PTZ movement and long-distance IR illumination. The system supports up to two edge AI analytic applications and includes built-in auto tracking for dynamic target monitoring. With a 32× optical zoom, high-speed pan/tilt capability, and integrated IR LEDs capable of reaching up to 250 meters, this model is engineered for large-scale coverage areas such as campuses, ports, highways, and critical infrastructure.
The camera uses a 4.25–136 mm motorized lens providing 32× optical zoom with additional digital zoom up to 512×. Horizontal field of view ranges from approximately 65° at wide angle to 2.4° at full telephoto in 16:9 mode, allowing operators to transition from wide situational monitoring to highly focused target inspection. This range is significant for PTZ deployments where one camera must cover large open areas and still provide detailed inspection when zoomed.
DORI performance highlights how dramatically coverage changes across the zoom range. Detection distances extend from about 60.3 m at wide to approximately 1,833 m at telephoto, while identification ranges from 6 m at wide to roughly 183 m at telephoto. In practice, this means the camera can survey very large areas from elevated mounting points while still allowing operators to zoom in for identification tasks when necessary.
The WV-X66300-Z3LK includes an integrated AI engine capable of running up to two edge AI applications. Native analytics include AI video motion detection, AI face detection, AI people detection, AI vehicle detection, and occupancy detection. Audio analytics also support classification of sounds such as gunshots, yelling, vehicle horns, and glass breaking. These capabilities allow the camera to function as both a monitoring device and an automated event detection sensor within larger security platforms.
AI auto tracking allows the PTZ mechanism to follow detected targets automatically, maintaining framing without manual operator input. This capability is especially useful in perimeter protection and traffic monitoring environments where objects move continuously across large areas.
The camera delivers strong low-light performance with minimum illumination down to approximately 0.011 lux in color mode and 0 lux in black-and-white mode when IR LEDs are active. Integrated IR illumination can reach up to approximately 250 m under typical conditions, enabling night monitoring across large open spaces such as parking areas, roadways, or industrial yards.
Additional imaging enhancements include up to 144 dB dynamic range, adaptive black stretch, digital noise reduction, fog compensation, and highlight/backlight compensation. These features improve image clarity in high-contrast scenes, haze, or challenging nighttime lighting environments.
The camera supports continuous 360° panning and tilt movement from –20° to +90°. Preset speeds can reach up to 700°/s for pan and 500°/s for tilt when powered via PoE++, enabling rapid repositioning during incident response. Up to 256 preset positions are supported, along with patrol, preset sequence, and auto-pan modes for automated guard tours.
The WV-X66300-Z3LK is designed for harsh outdoor environments. It carries IP66 ingress protection, IK10 impact resistance, and NEMA 4X environmental ratings. The aluminum die-cast housing features a heavy salt damage resistance coating suitable for coastal or marine deployments. Operating temperatures range from –50°C to +60°C depending on power configuration, allowing deployment in extremely cold or hot climates.
Network connectivity uses a 10/100 Ethernet interface supporting H.265, H.264, and MJPEG compression streams with up to four configurable video streams. Security capabilities include HTTPS, IEEE 802.1X authentication, and a built-in FIPS 140-2 Level 3 secure element (NXP EdgeLock SE050F) for hardware-level encryption and device identity protection. The camera also supports IPv4 and IPv6 networking protocols and integration with standard VMS platforms.
This PTZ camera is best suited for wide-area surveillance such as airports, ports, highways, utility infrastructure, and large campuses where operators need both large-area coverage and the ability to zoom into distant targets. Its long-range IR illumination and AI-assisted tracking are particularly useful in perimeter security and critical infrastructure monitoring.
This model is less suitable for confined indoor areas, short corridor coverage, or deployments where fixed-angle cameras provide more consistent pixel density. It also requires higher PoE power budgets compared to compact fixed cameras.
