The HID 40NKS-00-00192X is a SIGNO 40 series proximity reader designed for enterprise access control deployments. Compatibility

Supports 32-bit EM card format with OSDP v2 protocol for secure panel communication. Reader features configurable operating modes: LED output disabled, flash function disabled, buzzer disabled, and surface-mount configuration. 32-bit EM credential processing enables integration with existing proximity card ecosystems. Velocity anti-tailgating function is available but disabled in this configuration. BLEMA, BLEMG, and NFCMG indicate support for extended credential management options.
