Overview
The HID 40NKS-00-0002BP is a SIGNO 40 series access control reader designed for standard card profile applications. This black and silver reader operates with OSDP v1 protocol communication and supports 32-bit magnetic stripe (MSB) and 32-bit Wiegand EM card credential formats. Configured with LED indicators disabled and flash disabled, this reader is optimized for installations requiring straightforward credential authentication without visual feedback indicators.
Compatibility
Compatible with OSDP-enabled access control systems and standard electromagnetic card credentials. The 32-bit Wiegand and magnetic stripe support enables integration with existing legacy and modern access control platforms. Surface-mount installation with standard card reader profile. No buzzer or velocity monitoring configured.
