Overview

Pelco ESCE1-4X36-RLU is an Esprit Compact Enhanced 1 ruggedized 4MP outdoor PTZ dome with 36× optical zoom, built to MIL-STD-810G environmental standards. Continuous 360° pan, −90° to +1° tilt, Pelco Smart Analytics, and H.265/H.264 compression. The 4MP sensor delivers 2560×1440 resolution—noticeably more identification detail than the 2MP ESCE1-2X40-RLU at comparable zoom positions.

ONVIF Profile S, T, G, M compliant. NDAA Section 889 compliant. The housing withstands extreme temperature cycling, shock, vibration, humidity, and UV exposure per MIL-STD-810G test methods. Military installations, border security, and critical infrastructure perimeters benefit from both the resolution upgrade and documented environmental durability.

Compatibility and selection notes

For 2MP resolution with 40× zoom in the same ruggedized form factor, the ESCE1-2X40-RLU provides longer telephoto reach at lower pixel density. Both share MIL-STD-810G certification. Verify power input requirements against available site infrastructure.
