Overview
The HID SIGNO 40 is a smart card reader designed for access control integration in enterprise and commercial security environments. This model supports OSDP v2 communication protocol with 32-bit encryption and supports up to 32-bit EM card credentials. The reader features configurable LED status indication (OFF in this configuration) and surface-mount installation. Ideal for secure facility access where encrypted credential communication and modern protocol support are required.
Compatibility
Compatible with OSDP v2-enabled access control systems and panels. Supports EM 32-bit credential format. Surface-mounted configuration suitable for standard door frame integration.
