Overview
The HID 40NKS-00-00001F is a SIGNO 40 series proximity card reader designed for standard access control installations. This black and silver unit delivers card-based credential reading in a compact surface-mount form factor, making it suitable for integration into existing door security systems and access management infrastructure.
Compatibility
This reader outputs credentials via Wiegand protocol (32-bit MSB configuration) with a maximum extended card format support of 40-bit EM standard. The unit features Wiegand communication for direct integration with compatible access control panels and readers. Red LED status indicator provides visual feedback during operation. Surface mounting design allows flexible deployment on door frames or adjacent surfaces.
