Overview
The HID 900NHPNEK0000R is an R10-H PIVCLASS smart card reader designed for secure access control deployments. This reader supports OSDP V1 protocol with 485HDX communication, delivering FIPS 200-bit encryption for credential authentication. Factory-configured with tamper detection enabled and test keys loaded for integration testing.
Compatibility
Supports PIVCLASS credentials with HF standard, SIO, SEOS, and FIPS modes. OSDP V1 compatibility ensures integration with modern access control panels and management systems. Low-frequency transmission disabled; high-frequency standard mode active. Open collector output design permits flexible panel connections. Poll interval set to 75 milliseconds for responsive credential reads.
Configuration Details
Audio and video feedback disabled. UART and Wiegand output ports inactive. Designed for fixed-mount, standard single-gang installation. Black finish. Tamper monitoring active; suitable for regulated or high-security environments requiring continuous monitoring.
