The Altronix AL624E is a selectable-output linear power supply and battery charger designed for access control, alarm, and security system applications. The unit accepts 16/24VAC input and provides switchable output of 6VDC, 12VDC, or 24VDC on a single output terminal, with maximum current ratings of 0.2A at 6VDC or 0.75A at 24VDC. The AL624E integrates battery backup capability, accommodating sealed lead-acid or gel-type 12VDC batteries up to 7AH with instantaneous failover upon AC loss.
