Altronix ACM8 Access Power Controller, 8 Fused Relay Outputs, FAI, Board
Overview
The Altronix ACM8 is a multi-output access power controller that converts a single 12 to 24 volt AC or DC input into eight independently controlled fuse-protected outputs. Power outputs can be converted to dry form "C" contacts. The unit is designed to route power to access control hardware including mag locks, electric strikes, and magnetic door holders. It supports both Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure modes and includes a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) interface for emergency egress, alarm monitoring, or triggering auxiliary devices. Fire alarm disconnect is individually selectable per output.
Key Features
- 8 independent fused relay outputs
- 12-24 VAC or VDC operation (no setting required)
- UL Listed to UL294 (Access Control) and cUL General Signaling Equipment
- Fire alarm disconnect capability per output
- Battery backup support
- AC Fail supervision
- Board form factor: 8" L × 4" W × 0.75" H
Compatibility
Supports trigger inputs from access control systems, card readers, keypads, push buttons, and PIR sensors via normally open (NO) dry inputs or open collector sink inputs. Can be powered by one common source for board and lock power, or two isolated sources. Current consumption: 0.6A @ 12V, 0.3A @ 24V with all relays energized.
