Overview

Pelco EXRE2-VF09-E0A00 is an ExSite Enhanced 2 explosion-proof radiometric thermal camera with a VGA (640×512) uncooled microbolometer and 9 mm fixed lens at 30 Hz. Delivers calibrated per-pixel temperature measurement for automated alarm thresholds on equipment overheating, flare monitoring, and process anomalies. 316L stainless steel housing certified ATEX, IECEx, and UL for Zone 1/21.

The 30 Hz frame rate provides smooth thermal video for real-time tracking of temperature changes across the scene. Absolute temperature output per pixel integrates with VMS alarm rules and SCADA systems for automated response without operator intervention. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Compatibility and selection notes

The 30 Hz model is restricted to domestic U.S. use. International projects require the EXRE2-VF09-E0A00-1 at 9 Hz for export compliance. The 9 mm lens covers a wider FOV for monitoring nearby equipment clusters. Both radiometric variants share the same calibrated thermal engine and 316L stainless housing.
