Overview

Pelco EXRE2-VF09-E0A00-1 is an ExSite Enhanced 2 explosion-proof radiometric thermal camera with a VGA (640×512) uncooled microbolometer and 9 mm fixed lens running at 9 Hz for export compliance. Calibrated per-pixel temperature measurement enables automated alarm thresholds for equipment overheating, flare monitoring, and process anomalies. 316L stainless steel housing certified ATEX, IECEx, and UL for Zone 1/21.

Unlike non-radiometric thermal cameras that only show relative heat contrast, this unit outputs absolute temperature data per pixel. That data feeds directly into VMS alarm rules or SCADA integration for automated response. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Compatibility and selection notes

The 9 Hz frame rate satisfies ITAR/EAR export restrictions—required for international end users. For unrestricted 30 Hz domestic use, order EXRE2-VF09-E0A00. The 9 mm lens provides a wider FOV suited for monitoring equipment clusters at closer range. Both variants share the same radiometric engine and stainless housing.
