Overview

Pelco SRXE4P-8X31-EBT-IR1 is a Sarix Enterprise outdoor bullet camera with an 8MP sensor, 31x motorized varifocal lens, and FIPS 140-3 validated cybersecurity module. The “P” suffix confirms validated cryptographic compliance required for federal and defense installations. IR1 illumination delivers approximately 70 m of 850 nm IR range. Built on a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with 130 dB WDR, Pelco Smart Analytics, and onboard TPM with Secure Boot.

PoE+ or 12/24 Vdc powered. ONVIF Profile S, T, G, and M compliant. NDAA Section 889 compliant. The 31x zoom ratio covers broad scene monitoring at the short end and detailed identification at full telephoto, reducing the need for multiple fixed-lens cameras on the same perimeter segment.

Compatibility and selection notes

Required for U.S. federal facilities and defense sites mandating FIPS 140-3. The non-FIPS equivalent is the SRXE4-8X31-EBT-IR1. For fixed-lens FIPS-compliant bullets, check SRXE4P-8V9-EBT-IR1 (9 mm) or other SRXE4P variants. Requires PoE+ (30 W class) switch ports.
