Pelco SRXE4-4X31-EBT-IR1
Overview
Pelco SRXE4-4X31-EBT-IR1 is a 4 MP outdoor bullet from the Sarix Enterprise 4 series with a motorized varifocal lens and IR1 module delivering approximately 70 m of 850 nm IR. FIPS 140-3 validated encryption, 130 dB WDR, and a 1/1.8″ sensor. Remote lens adjustment after mounting eliminates the fixed-lens commitment that requires precise pre-installation field-of-view planning.
On-board Pelco Smart Analytics. ONVIF Profile S/T/G/M compliant. PoE+ or 12/24 Vdc. IP-rated, IK10. NDAA Section 889 compliant.
Compatibility and selection notes
The motorized varifocal adds cost over fixed-lens Enterprise bullets but eliminates revisits for lens changes. This is a set-and-hold varifocal, not continuous-zoom PTZ. For well-defined coverage zones, fixed-lens models (9, 12, 29, 40 mm) reduce cost. For wider varifocal range, the SRXE4-2X33-EBT-IR1 (2.8–33 mm) extends the zoom span. Sites not requiring FIPS 140-3 can specify Pro 4 varifocal options.
