Overview

Pelco ESCE1-2X40V24-RLU-1 is an Esprit Compact Enhanced bispectral PTZ combining a 2 MP visible-light camera with 40× optical zoom and a VNIR thermal channel fitted with a 24 mm lens for extended detection range. MIL-STD-810G rated across shock, vibration, humidity, and temperature extremes. The “-1” suffix limits the thermal channel to 9 Hz for ITAR/EAR export compliance.

Dual-channel H.265/H.264 encoding, 360° continuous pan, guard tours, and Pelco Smart Analytics. ONVIF Profile S/T/G/M compliant. The 24 mm lens narrows the thermal field of view to push detection distances further than the 9 mm V9 variant. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Compatibility and selection notes

Select the V24 over the V9 when long-range perimeter detection is the priority and a narrower thermal FOV is acceptable. For unrestricted 30 Hz domestic operation, order ESCE1-2X40V24-RLU. Both V9 and V24 share the same visible 40× zoom module, so the only difference is the thermal lens focal length and resulting detection envelope. Confirm export classification before quoting international end users.
