Overview

Pelco EXP2230-62 is an ExSite Enhanced 2 explosion-proof PTZ delivering 2 MP imaging with 30× optical zoom inside an aluminum alloy housing, powered by 24 Vac. Certified ATEX Zone 1/21, IECEx Zone 1/21, and UL/cUL Class I Division 1. Full 360° continuous pan, programmable presets, guard tours, and on-camera analytics round out the feature set.

H.265/H.264 encoding with dual streaming. Built-in heater and wiper maintain visibility in harsh conditions. The aluminum alloy construction keeps weight manageable compared to stainless alternatives while meeting Zone 1 protection requirements. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Compatibility and selection notes

The -62 suffix identifies 24 Vac power input, typical for installations where low-voltage infrastructure already exists in the hazardous area. For 120 Vac mains power, specify EXP2230-67 instead. Both share the same optical and analytical platform—only the input voltage differs. Verify local electrical codes and area classification before selecting the power variant.
