Overview

Pelco OCTEXBA3/4P is a 3/4-inch NPT armored barrier cable gland with ATEX and IECEx certification for hazardous area camera installations. Armored construction protects the cable mechanically at the entry point, while the barrier design provides electrical isolation between the hazardous and safe zones.

Compatibility and selection notes

Use where armored cable is specified by the site hazardous area classification. For non-armored cables in the same thread size, the OCTEXB3/4P standard barrier gland is sufficient. The 1/2-inch variant (OCTEXBA1/2P) handles smaller cable diameters. Confirm cable OD falls within the gland sealing range. NDAA Section 889 compliant.
