Compatibility and selection notes

Every component in a hazardous location cable entry must carry appropriate area classification certification. A mismatched gland voids the housing’s ATEX/IECEx rating. Confirm cable diameter, jacket type, and clamping range match specifications. For smaller cables requiring 1/2 NPT, the OCTEX1/2C is the correct variant. Hazardous location work requires qualified personnel.
