Overview

ATEX/IECEx/EAC-certified cable gland with 1/2 NPT thread entry for hazardous location use. Seals cable penetrations in explosion-proof and flameproof enclosures, maintaining the housing’s hazardous area rating at each cable entry point. A non-certified gland voids the ATEX/IECEx rating and creates a compliance violation. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Compatibility and selection notes

Every cable entry component must carry the appropriate area classification certification. Confirm cable diameter and jacket type are within the specified clamping range before installation.
