Overview

Pelco EXC2602-62 is an ExSite Enhanced 2 Compact 6MP explosion-proof fixed camera in 316L stainless steel with a 4.9–8 mm motorized varifocal lens. Certified ATEX Zone 1/21, IECEx Zone 1/21, UL, CSA, and EACEx for deployment in atmospheres containing flammable gases, vapors, mists, or combustible dusts. No pre-installed cable—field wiring required at installation.

6MP resolution with H.265 compression delivers detailed coverage of process areas, loading zones, and perimeter lanes in hazardous classified environments. Pelco Smart Analytics onboard. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Compatibility and selection notes

Verify the specific hazardous area classification (Zone 1 vs Zone 2, Division 1 vs Division 2) against the camera’s certifications before specifying. The compact form factor fits confined mounting locations where full-size ExSite housings cannot be accommodated. Field wiring must comply with local electrical codes for the classified area.
