Overview

ATEX/IECEx-certified 1/2 NPT conduit plug for ExSite explosion-proof camera housings. Seals unused conduit entries to maintain the enclosure’s certified explosion-proof integrity. Rated –100°C to +400°C, covering the full thermal range from cryogenic to high-heat process environments. Open entries void hazardous area certification regardless of actual gas concentration. NDAA Section 889 compliant.

Compatibility and selection notes

Verify the plug’s certification covers the zone classification and gas group at the installation site. In Group IIC hydrogen atmospheres, IIC-specific certification is mandatory — IIB is insufficient. Never force into a 3/4 NPT entry; use the OEXPLUG3/4P for larger bores. Thread size is stamped on the enclosure entry. Stock both plug sizes for any ExSite installation to pass hazardous area inspection.
