Overview

Pelco OCTEXB3/4P is a 3/4-inch NPT barrier cable gland with ATEX and IECEx certification for hazardous area camera installations. Larger thread size handles heavier-gauge or multi-conductor cables that exceed the 1/2-inch OCTEXB1/2P sealing range. Provides electrical continuity and ingress protection at the conduit-to-enclosure transition in explosive atmospheres.

Compatibility and selection notes

Pairs with Pelco Sarix ATEX-rated camera housings and junction boxes threaded for 3/4-inch NPT entry. For standard cable diameters, the OCTEXB1/2P is sufficient and leaves a smaller penetration. Confirm the cable outer diameter falls within the gland sealing range before ordering. NDAA Section 889 compliant.
